Children's Ministries of Bethany

Sunday School for all ages
Bethany Bible Fellowship offers a fully-graded Sunday School program. From infants through Junior and Senior High levels, Bethany offers a time and place for children to be taught the Word of God. The time and location of classes can be found at the information booth each Sunday morning.

Children's Worship Service
Children's Worship Service is for first grade through fifth grade. They meet in the Fellowship Hall every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. This fully-graded ministry offers a unique experience to learn about church and worship on a level designed for the age of the child. Beginning at first grade, the children meet to experience their own worship time together. This program allows the children to experience congregational singing, worship, giving, and communion. Highlighted throughout the year are guest speakers, from missionaries to our very own members.

Bethany Bible Fellowship Awana Clubs
AWANA is a Bible-based club teaching children the gospel of Jesus Christ. Children in Kindergarten through sixth grade earn awards and merit badges by memorizing Scripture, through service work and activities. AWANA meets every Wednesday during the school year (6:45 p.m.) at Bethany. More than 40 trained adults are involved in this program.

Summer Day Camp
Crafts, games, Bible teaching, swimming, field trips - some just for fun - fill a child's day at Summer Day Camp, a function of Bethany Christian Academy. The Christian environment and child care offered are for children of working parents and children simply looking for "something to do."  Fees are based on length and frequency of attendance. Further details on this ministry may be obtained from our Academy office by calling (714) 891-9783.
