Ron, a graduate of Melodyland School of Theology, has taken over the ministry pioneered by Dr. Gordon Blenkhorn. The purpose of this ministry is to visit and provide support to those unable to make it to church, keeping them abreast of “happenings” at Bethany. Other responsibilities include praying with members and family before surgery, sitting with family members during times of crisis, delivering communion to shut-ins, administering baptism, helping families make final arrangements, and supporting Pastor at memorial services.
Ron says, “When I visit them and walk into their room and see their warm friendly smiles, I can truly say, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
